Hey everybody!! It is good to be back on the boards. I was away for a while due to school. Now that my Spring semester is over, I have some time to hang out on the boards. I will only be taking two summer classes, so I will have some more free time. I never was able to get around to my January TR, but I would love to share some pictures from the trip. It was our first time seeing the Christmas decorations. I LOVED the castle icicles and the Osbourne lights. So pretty.
OOh, and I have to share these two pics with you all. I love these guys from DHS. I have heard that they are no longer having street performers in DHS. Makes me sad, lol.
I ran the half marathon on this trip. Man it was brutal. It SNOWED the day of the race! Snow, lol! It was crazy. The race started with snow at first, changed to ice, and ended with rain. I have to tell you though, running through the MK was AMAZING!! Having all of the people cheering you on and the characters was just so awesome. I finished in 2:05:43. I could have done better, but I was happy with that. The weather really slowed me down.
Here is what I worked so hard to get that day.
As some of you may know, Tim and I always go to Disney in May for our anniversary. Unfortunately with me being in school, we were not able to go in May for our anniversary. It is okay though. We will be going the end of next May because we are going on the Disney Dream!!
I am totally looking forward to it. We will be doing the cruise for 4 nights, then finishing with 5 nights at AKV. I am hoping we can get into concierge for this stay. I am going to try. Anyway, we decided to go this June because of Star Wars Weekends. Tim is a huge fan, so he is thrilled. What I am really excited about, though, is that we will be there for the Summer Nightastic. The summer events start on June 6. When I first heard that Wishes was going to be replaced, I was a bit worried that I would not be able to see it. Wishes is my absolute favorite. We get to Disney on June 1, so I will still get to see Wishes and the new fireworks show! YAY!So where will we be staying? At AKV! We absolutely love it there.
We will be on the Dining plan. Just the basic. We did the Deluxe in January and loved it. It was a lot of food. I think we were able to eat more, though, because it was cold. I know in the summer months, we are barely hungry, so we decided that the basic will be perfect.
Here is where we will be eating!
Sci-Fi- A must for us. We will be having lunch here
Beirgarten- Another must. We will be having dinner here.
Nine Dragons- This is our first time trying it. This is a dinner
Chefs de France- Dinner. A must!
Brown Derby- another must for dinner
Boma- for breakfast
Jiko- for dinner. We fell in love with this place in January. So good.
Ohana- Hello, a must do, lol.
Kona- Love it. Dinner.
Coral Reef- Lunch. Love it here as well.
So the only new place we will be trying is Nine Dragons. Our friends have eaten there before and they loved it, so we figured we would try it.
That's all I have for now. I will post our plans soon. If you of you have been in early June before and have been to Star Wars days, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Like I said on FB-- so glad you decided to do a PTR! Also, that's AWESOME that your trip works out so you can see Wishes and the new summer show (well, I guess the Electric Light Parade isn't NEW, but you know what I mean)!!
