AKV help please

Staying in August for 5 nights in a 1bdrm at Jambo/savanna view. Booked thru AAA and saved almost $500 over quote online. We are so excited and cannot wait After reading all the info on these boards I am wondering if we should switch to Kidani for the 2 bathrooms. I have asked on another board but didn't get much response or info. DDs are teens and I am torn between 2 baths at KDV and the busier atmosphere at Jambo. We are renting a car so I don't care about the bus distance... pools look great at both places... there is a kitchen in the villa so I don't care about restaurants and we like eating lots of places anyway so I plan on booking some meals. Please help me decide if I should switch us to Kidani or keep Jambo!

I prefer the vIllas at Kidani and with 2 teenagers, I'd definitely give up the Jambo convenience for that extra bathroom.

It's a 7 minute walk from lobby to lobby so you can easily get to Jambo if you feel the need for "busy".

While Jambo is my favorite, 2 teenaged girls traveling with others = 2 bathrooms.

I'm not sure about the 2 bathrooms, but I stayed in a savannah view & thought it was a terrible waste of money. We saw a single giraffe & that's because we sat there, waiting. Prayer seemed to help, too! It's cool to be abe to say you stayed there, but I didn't think it was worth the money.

Switch to Kidani, you will be grateful for the extra bathroom. We love the Kidani section and prefer it over the Jambo house.

Which savannah were you on? That's really surprising. I was on the ostrich trail last year and most afternoons we had at least 6 zebra and 3-4 giraffe, plus several other critters.

We're hoping for an arusha view room this year, and I'm looking forward to even more animals

If you are not bothered about QS food, then I would go with Kidani. Both have great pools and you can hop over to Jambo Hpuse and try it out whilst you are there.

Kidani it will be... I don't think they will miss much and we can certainly walk between the Jambo and Kidani. 2 bathrooms is just too important at this age!
