Has anyone stayed in both Jambo House and Kidani Village GV and if so which one did you like better

I preferred the jambo house Grand villa. The pool table was a hit, and the master bathroom seemed much nicer than at Kidani. If you need more sleeping space, the Kudani villa had the pull out in the sitting area upstairs. The balconies were also much larger at Jambo.

We have stayed in both too. My kids preferred Kidani. They liked the upstairs sitting area, they liked the two levels and being closer to the Kidani pool. I have to admit that the floor to ceiling windows at Kidani gave the GV a grand feel.

I preferred the Jambo GV for the reasons the PP said. The Master IMO is nicer, I liked the one level floor plan (and that worked better for my elderly parents) and we all liked the pool table. I also have to agree with the PP, the balconies at Jambo are bigger and nicer than Kidani. My parents, DH and I really enjoyed our morning coffee/breakfast on the balcony -- my kids were like *meh* -- LOL

They are both really great rooms. If you are going to use the Kidani pool amenities, maybe staying on the Kidani side will work better for you and your family. You can shuttle over to Kidani from Jambo, or walk, but it is still not as convenient IMO.

A GV stay is always exciting! I have my first extended stay at a GV coming up in Aulani. The first question DD asked me was "is there and upstairs?" LOL Kids!

Happy planning. Have great trip.

We've stayed in the Kidani GV once and Jambo GV twice. I like the Jambo GV better for the pool table (teenage sons and nephews), the master bath, the balconies, and the very long rectangular dining room table that easily accommodated all 11 of us. The dining table at Kidani is round and only seated 8. The Jambo entrance is also very grand - double doors that open into a large tiled foyer.

The only drawback I found with the Jambo GV is that one of the secondary bedrooms doesn't have a private bathroom. It is directly across the hall from the bedroom. The other secondary bedroom features a bath with two showers; one is a stand-alone shower and the other is a combination bathtub and shower.

The Kidani GV has an amazing wow factor with the 2 story living room area.

Both GVs are very nice!
