AKV FIrst Time

We are bringing our son to AKV. He's 3. His 3rd time at disney but 1st at the AKV. Any advice for cool things to do/see with a toddler?

thanks for posting this -- our next trip will also be our first stay at AKV. I'm thinking we may have a problem getting DD to actually do anything outside the resort.

Forget the kids--the culinary tour looks like great fun for me and dh! Is that a regular option throughout the year?

We had a savanna view room...couldn't get the kids off the balcony!

I had to plan another trip just so we could enjoy the resort!

My DD's (3 and 5) liked the cookie decorating at Boma and the chalk tracings in the lobby. Unfortunately, they were only able to do these things on our departure day while we were waiting for the DME bus. We are going back in June with the intention of trying out all of the resort activities before having any park time.
