Hello,

Can I get some help with this...We are planning an Aug 2010 trip to AKV for a 2 bedroom. Based on people's experience, would I be able to book a 2 BR at AKV (Value room) 7 months out? AKV is not my home resort.

Maybe, but probably not. August does have better odds than many other months though. Good luck!

I've often wondered about this? What IS your home resort? Maybe on the rent/trade board you can TRADE an 11 month reservation with someone.

Thus far I have been able to make 2 bedroom ressies at several of the popular resorts (BCV, VWL, and HHI) inside of 7 months. Your chances are good so long as you are not trying for Spring Break or the Christmas holidays.

Also know that I've had to waitlist for 1 or more days on all three of these visits, but they all came through.

Here's hoping you experience similar success.

THe op can probably get a 2 bedroom at AKV but the value 2 bedroom which the OP wants is iffy, they book up quick because of the lower point requirements.
