AKV Availability at 7 months

We own at Poly and was wondering, is it difficult to get in at AKV at 7 months (Kidani or Jambo) in a studio? Doesn't matter what view.

Most of the time, you should be able to get an AKV studio at 7 months, especially because you are so flexible about the building & booking category.

That said, there are times of the year where it might be a challenge (Late September through Marathon weekend).

Depends on when. During DVC's low to moderate demand season that runs from the Monday after Marathon weekend in January to about the last week of Sep,and with the possible exception of the Princess half marathon weekend in February and the Star Wars Race weekend in April, Kidani savanna view is invariably open. Kidani standard view is also often open but can have issues those race weekends and during holiday times and first two weeks of June. Jambo savana view studios are similar to Kidani standard and the Jambo standard studios can have issues at other times.

During DVC's high demand season, which runs from late Sep to Marathon weekend in January, your best chance for a studio is Kidani savanna view except you may be blocked out during the "extremely" high DVC demand times: Columbus day weekend (and when I say weekend I include Thursday) through the second weekend after Columbus Day, the Wine & Dine race weekend in early November, the last weekend of Food & Wine just before mid-November, the Tuesday through Friday of Thanksgiving week, the first two weeks of December, Dec 23 to Jan 2, and marathon weekend in January. Kidani standard and the Jambo studios often also have issues at other times during the high dmeand season but you can sometimes get lucky.

We were able to book two 2BRs at Kidani for June at the 7 month window, and became confident in doing so after reviewing drusba's data we had seen. Highly recommended.

Oh no I couldn't even imagine that being a possibility! haha, im sure AKV owners hop on that ASAP.

I was looking at standard or savannah studios at either Kidani or Jambo, how easy they are to get at 7 months.

Ak is BIG resort and we can almost always get in there either by booking it right away [because it has lots of availability most of the time] or by setting up both wait lists. We love it there. - great resort! Good luck!
