AKV and VB May 2008 - Day 15

Today was our last full day in Orlando so we started off with shopping on our mind, we hadn’t really done that much shopping so far this holiday.

After a visit to the nearby Hess to fuel up, we were on our way to Walmart I am amazed at the price of alcohol out here

Then it was time for DTD and we went into Days of Christmas to stock on more decorations for the tree

By now it was lunchtime and we were hungry so the only place to go was EoS. I decided to try something different and had the Tuna Melt – albacore tuna salad and Swiss cheese .

Nathan had his usual Hawaiian BBQ and we rounded this off with crisps and a brownie, the cookie we kept for later.

Now it was time for more shopping and wandering around DTD.

The T-Rex restaurant was coming along nicely

By mid afternoon we were done and headed back to AKV intending to go to Epcot for one last viewing of IlluniNations, but the weather had other ideas

Instead we settled for flat bread and soup in the Mara.

I must say later that night my stomach didn’t feel so good and I was hoping the journey to Vero Beach would be ok.

Lovely report Claire, I hope your tummy was okay. It is ages since I have been to Downtown Disney and I quite fancy the Christmas shop there plus the Earl of Sandwich which we have never tried.
