If I Were To Add On 50 Points To My Contract Would I Still Get The $8 Off A Point? I Would I Have To Pay The $104 A Point? I Would Call My Sales Guide But He Never Calls Back.

i think you have to buy at least 100 or 110 pts to get the incentive. for a 50pt contract, plan to pay $104.

It is the $104. I just added on 25 in December. I didn't mind, though. It was easy, no closing costs, points immediately available, same use year, and a .1 to my master contract.

My plan is to continue with small add ons. It makes more financial sense to me. So go forit!

Don't know about add-ons, but I would have been allowed to buy a 160pt starter contract and a 65 pt add-on to qualify for the 225 pt incentive and developer point bonus.

Yes, I added on yesterday and that is exactly how I did it. Now I am having a good time planning out the next several trips!

I read somewhere on another post after I posted the question here about splitting up the add-on, and on the other post it was reported that you can still get the $8 off AKV when you buy at least 110 points but that they would NOT give you the extra 100 developers points if you split your contract into two smaller ones.

Could you please confirm whether you also received the developers points with your two smaller contracts.


After reading the other post (which I cannot locate now), I didn't bother calling my guide back, but maybe I should have if I could get both the incentives, too.

Yes, my guide told me that they had to get approval to get the 100 developers point when I told him I wanted the two contracts but that would be no problem. I don't have any paperwork yet since we just did the add on on Wednesday. I know if my guide told me that I would get the developer points and I didn't that he would make it right. I'll let you know when I get my paperwork.
For what it is worth I didn't say anything about two contracts until I told him I would take the 110, confirmed the developer points and then said I wanted two contracts.

I just added on today, and I was able to split into two contracts and still get the developer points.
