AKV add-on incentives

We are thinking of adding on 40 points to our 320 points at AKV so we can stay in a 2 bedroom sv view one week a year. Does anyone know the current AKV incentives? We will be at WDW Dec. 17, so are in-park deals usually better? Thanks!

Just the discount per point. If you add on 100 points or more you get Developer Points.

I think if you add on only 40, there will be no incentives. I think you need to buy 100 to even get the discount per point.

We're considering, and you need to buy 50 AKV to get the per point discount.

Thanks everyone. We just talked to our guide and we do have to add-on 50 to get the $8 per point discount. So, it looks like we'll be adding on 50 points. Our guide said that since we are going to be at WDW in a few days we should just wait and do it all at once when we get there. Does anyone know if they typically give any extra perks like fast passes etc. when you add on at the park?

I think you certainly could ask when you're there in person ("Gee it would be nice to get some fast passes since we had to spend our vacation time here getting more points")
