I REALLY LIKE TO STAY AT THE AKL I THINK WITH A LITTLE ORGANIZATION I CAN DO IT. WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST RATE THAT YOU PAYED IN AKL?

We paid $109 a night in December for Christmas /New Years for a standard view, but got upgraded to pool view!! I loved it there!!!!

We got 2 concierge rooms at $150 each a night. Rooms 6202 and 6203. Overlooking Sunrise Savanah. We got a great rate on a deluxe savanah view room then were bumped up to concierge for free.

Wow! $150 a night for a deluxe savanna view room is outstanding. What discount code was this with? During what season did you travel? The best price I have seen for a regular savanna view room is $154 plus tax a night with an AP Rate during value season.

We are paying $277 a night including tax for a concierge room during our upcoming Feb trip. This is between 40 and 50% off with an AP rate.

Just a word of caution.....many people got great rates for the AKL from October through December simply because they were originally booked at the CBR (which was closed for renovation of the food court)....
We were one such family and got a Savannah view room for $113 per night.....(that likely won't happen again for us)....

The AKL is simply an AWESOME resort

We have $154/night ($171 w/tax) for Savannah View in 4 days!! Yeah!!

We paid $154 plus tax for Savannah view last Nov. I wanted to mention when AKL was open in April of 2001 it was considered a moderate hotel so the rate were very different. We were always a Poly fan and did not care for any other resort but since my last stay" the only room available for my travel dates in WDW" AKL is now officialy my favorite place to stay.

We got a card from Disney after xmas saying they were having a special on deluxe accomodations through 2/14. I needed a place to stay for 2/13 and 2/14. I called and we got AKL for $108 a night. We're real excited to be visiting.

we got a deal from DVC last year. 4 nights standard view for $349. when we got there, they automatically upgraded us to deluxe pool side. awesome deal!! best room location we've had at any disney resort.

I am sorry but this is not correct information. AKL was never considered a moderate resort. We stayed at the AKL May of 2001 and paid about $200 a night inc tax for a water/pool view room with an AP discount We feel in love with the place and changed our Sept 2001 reservations from the YC to the AKL. On that trip we paid $154.35 inc tax with an AP for a water/pool view room.

The WL and the AKL the least expensive of the Deluxe resorts (relatively speaking of course) but they are not moderates and were never marketed that way to the public.
