we are booked at the AKL starting Aug 22 and have heard that guests are still being reassigned. Disney has told me that the renovations will not affect us (Savannah View)

has anyone been there this past week or been reassigned?? thanks!

I haven't heard of any recent re-assignments. We are checking in on the 26, and are still good. How long are you guys staying? We leave on 9/2.

We are staying Aug 12th - 26th. We have not been called to move and when I called Disney they said we would be ok. We are booked through UK TA and they said they are not moving anyone. We have our tickets and voucher for AKL so here's hoping we are staying there. We have a Savannah view room booked.

we are leaving the 25th- just a short trip this time to get our "Disney Fix" LOL!!

We are staying Concierge, and have the sunrise safari booked. I understand our "category" is not being rebooked.

We were at AKL July 17-22 and didn't have any problem getting our room-pool view. Was a relief to me! Have fun! Cindy

We were set to check in there on Saturday (8/4) and have been moved

Have you seen the thread, AKL, Live as I see it? It was just updated about noise level at pool and in resort. Now, I'm glad I was moved, I think I would have been annoyed by the noise around the pool area. I just pictured myself with a nice fancy drink laying by the pool watching my girls swim and that drilling was not in that picture.

I have to go read it. I was still a little disappointed, but how disappointed can one be when getting the Poly instead for 3 adults for $163.84 a night tax included.
