I saw the Travel Channel show this morning and as a result we are splitting our stay between the Y/C and AKL!!! We are staying at AKL for two nights. We have 2 adults 3 kids. I bboked two standard connecting rooms with the CZF code (the deluxe room was to pricey for us). CM said because we had more children than adults that we were guaranteed the connecting rooms, has anyone ever had a problem with this? Also, I asked about bell services transferring are luggage to the Y/C and the CM said that it was up to bell services if they wanted to transfer the luggage and that it was not a guaranteed service, anyone have experience with this? Thanks

I've never heard of bell services not transferring the luggage...although when I had the GF transfer my luggage to the BW they lost it. After finding out what the process is, and knowing that it could have easily been lost for weeks, I wouldn't ever do taht again, I'll move it myself, even if it means spending the $10 on a cab.

It will say on your reservation confirmation "guaranteed connecting rooms for families" or at least it should. It should be about 3/4 of the way down on the left hand side when you get it.

if your children are young, the connecting rooms are suposed to be guaranteed. floow up with this thru CRO and also at check in.

I have split my stay numerous times, never had a problem at all with having our luggage transferred. very prompt and flawless each time.
ofcourse every onc ein a while someone will have a mishap, but that is with anything....

have fun!!
