AKL & which other resort?

Ok, folks I had already booked a 5 night stay at AKL for 06/01-06/06/04 and was really looking foward to it. We were going to stay at Hard Rock Hotel on 05/29-05/31/04. Well now my party does not want to stay at the Hard Rock and wants to stay at another Deluxe resort in WDW.Ok which one? The code I used is no longer available. What should I do??? I have only a month to go..

call reservations and see if they will extend your time at AKL at the same rate? I would think any other hotel would be at rate rate. Or stay at the Hard Rock and tell your party to suffer through it.... Have fun.....

Wow, I would love to stay at Hard Rock...just for the front on the line passes and Universal...do you know about that perk?

If they do and still don't want to stay there you stay there, make reservations at one of the Value Resorts at Disney...at this late date why pay twice as much for a room.

Were you planning on going to the Universal parks? If so talk your party into stay at HRH. There's nothing like Front of the line access. If you weren't planning on visiting the parks then my vote is to check and see if you can add the extra nights onto AKL. There's so much to see at that resort it's worth staying the extra couple of nights.

Any teacher or government employee in your party? Another option would be Swan or Dolphin if you could get a good rate. It's in a great location.

The two previous posts are correct. If you are going to visit the Universal Parks....IMHO, you need to stay at HRH. This is what we do when we go to Universal before Disney.

We stay in one the Universal Resorts to gain the "FOTL" access usually for 3-4 nights. We then complete our trip at one of the Disney Resorts for 7-10 nights.

Also, Universal offers an online pass which is around $95 and is good for both parks - unlimited access - for 5 consecutive days. Even if you use it for 2-3 days it saves you money.
