AKL vs ASMo

We are booked post Disney cruise for a 3 night stay at Disney World at ASmo for June preferred room. With the new deal released yesterday, I snagged a AKL standard room for 229/night. which hotel would you prefer? I feel like for the price, value to deluxe is no comparison. DD are 9 and 6.

We are probably in the minority but we hated AKL. It’s dark and feels dated. We usually stay at Wilderness Lodge (which we love) but would take All Star Movie over AKL any day of the week. The only downside for me is that there is no balcony/private outdoor seating off the rooms at All star Movie. My kids (daughter just turned 9 and son 6) love the over the top theming at All Star Movies and would probably take it over Wilderness if we let them choose. ASM is super loud and chaotic but we feel like it’s part of the charm. The darkness of AKL was too much for us and my husband said it made him feel depressed. Lol.
