AKL visit

Although we are staying at POR next month, we are going to visit AKL & Boardwalk on our non-park day. Can you see the animals while snooping around AKL? What is the best location to do this? Thanks.

There are several viewing areas both inside and outside the resort. There are also CMs at most viewing areas to answer any questions you may have. It's awesome!

Jambo house has a viewing area that extends into the savanna. Plus there are places along the main floor/lobby.

Walk over to Kidani too! They have okapis over by be pool. There is a viewing area at the pool.

the main viewing area is off the lower level down from the lobby. Stick your head in Sanaa! It is beautiful.

The main viewing area at AKL (Jambo House) is just outside the main lobby. Enter the main lobby and walk to the very back. Go down the stairs which leads you to the looking deck outside. There you'll be able to see giraffes, zebras, many types of birds, cattle, etc. CMs are there to visit with you about the animals and answer any questions you may have. They are wonderful! There's also a flamingo pond just off of the pool area and another looking deck in a different area off the pool as well. Just ask any CM around and they can direct you where to go.
