what do you think the chances are of getting a value two bedroom and a value studio the week before Xmas at the 7 month mark?

Not good at all. There are only a limited number of each and you want one of each. You need a backup reservation at your home resort at 11 months out.

The two bedroom is just a studio connected to a one bedroom.

I'd give you maybe a 1% chance to get both. Maybe if you waitlist you'll have a "tiny" shot....but I think there's zero chance that they'll both be available when you first call.
