AKL Value room question

We own at OKW but this year we are going to try a 1 BR value room at Jambo. Does anyine know if the bathroom tub there has whirlpool jets or is it just a standard size tub with a shower? We like the OKW accomodations and don't want to be too disappointed with the AKL setup.

I can't remember if they have jets, but it is a large tub in the 1 BR. In fact, I like the setup better because there is a door that closes off the toilet unlike OKW which is right next to the shower. Check out dvcnews.com and you'll see photo's of the various rooms. It is a whirlpool tub -- a deep tub with jets. It is not anywhere near the size of the tub in the 1BRs at OKW though. And as you mentioned, the 1BRs/2BRs in Jambo House have a combined whirlpool tub and shower. There is no separate shower stall. (1BRs/2BRs in Kidani Village do have a separate shower stall as well as a second small but full bathroom. The rooms there are also a bit larger than those at Jambo House.)

We really enjoy our stays in OKW 1BRs and feel that none of the other WDW resorts really compare to OKW in terms of spaciousness but we love AKV for the animals and the atmosphere. You will give up some things but you will get a lot of other things you don't get at OKW.

It's a deep rectangular heavenly whirlpool... I think it was the best part of our whole stay in 1br value.
Everynight after DD goes to sleep I'd soak in that tub until I was falling asleep.

Personally I prefer this tub than the usual triangular tub they have in BW. Triangular tub just seems weird to me in general.

As you can see, the bedroom is narrow, but plenty of room for the amount of points and view!
