AKL Value 1 bedroom

I was able to get a value 1 bedroom in August at 7mos out. My question is how much smaller are the rooms we have 2adults 2 children not sure if I should change it to something else. Does anyone have pictures of the rooms.

The Value 1-bedroom is about 3 or 4 feet shorter than the other 1-bedrooms in Jambo House. The Values only exists in Jambo House.

Value 1-bedroom 629 sq. ft.
Other Jambo House 1-bedrooms 710 sq. ft.
Kidani Village 1-bedrooms 807 sq. ft.

for a value studio, i would worry that it might be tight.

but for a 1BR, it should be fine...

The Value 1BRs do not have a sleeper chair if that matters to you.

we too have a value but a two bedroom and feel we lucked out but now I am over guessing it as I am hoping it is nice.

We just stayed at AKV from 12/1 to 12/7 and you can find the trip report here with lots of pictures. The first room we stayed in was a 2-bedroom value. If you ignore the studio side, you'll have an idea of the size of the 1-bedroom.

Don't worry, I have stayed in a 1bed value 5 times with 2 adults & 2 kids... never a problem. You can't be the points value. The differance is 3 feet and a pull out chair. If you don't need the chair why waste the points. I think the word "value" scares people. Also the balcony is quit large. 4 chairs and 2 small tables. Another benefit is they are close to the lobby no long walks.

I have a value studio booked for Feb 13 to 18 for DH and I. I was able to book it at the seven month mark. I am not worried about the smaller size but I am worried about getting the parking lot view. Wish me luck on a great view.

There are only two Value Studios that face the parking lot. There are 8 that face the Sunset Savanna and 8 that face the Uzima Pool. Here's a map of the Jambo House units. The Values are along the Giraffe and Ostrich Trails. Those rooms shown in white are regular hotel rooms that DVC did not take over.

well today I cancelled my 2 bedroom value at Jambo so someone may luck out in the morning. I changed to the beach club and bay lake towers. Decided to do a split stay. I had to be closer to the parks

No unless one is under the age of 3. Value does not have a sleeper chair.
