AKL to Nearest Wal Mart?

I asked this over on the Transportation board, but I didn't really get an answer. We are going to be in a villa July 6-14 and will have our own car. I usually order from Garden Grocer, but I decided to try and save a bit and do my own shopping. Can someone please give directions to the nearest Super Wal Mart from AKL? Thanks!

1. Start out going EAST on OSCEOLA PKWY toward ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE ACCESS RD. (5.10 miles)

2. Turn LEFT onto INTERNATIONAL DR S. (2.19 miles)

3. Turn RIGHT onto FL-535 S/S APOPKA VINELAND RD/KISSIMMEE-VINELAND RD. Continue to follow FL-535 S. (0.79 miles)

I would ask a CM at the resort Bell Services as they can probably give you a map but it's easy to find. Since it's a Super Walmart it also has food options and is new and clean. If you exit from the resort, follow Osceola Parkway to the I-4 exit. Take the I-4 exit toward Orlando East for SR 535 ( which later you will see is Vineland Rd). It's actually the first exit past the WDW resorts. Take a right and proceed down SR 535/Vineland Rd. Super Walmart will be on your right. There's also an outlet mall on your left before you get to Walmart that is the Buena Vista Factory Outlets. There's a Disney outlet there with great pricing. Also Oshkosh, Gap,Carters, etc, etc.---Kathy

I have never been to said Super Wal-Mart myself, however what I usually do is go to Publix via the "back way" (Osceola Parkway). You can view the weekly sale paper online.

The address is 2915 Vineland Road. It is quite easy to find and get to, and you will avoid traffic. If you mapquest it from the location of your hotel, it should be an easy jaunt.

We've gone to the newer SWM mentioned above every trip since it's been open. Nicer than than the one that's a little further away. However, also just a little further is Super Target. It's between the 2 closests SWM.

Another place we go to is Sam's Club which is just down the street from ST. We usually go there at least once during our trip (on an off-park day) and grab a quick bite, pick up some water, etc. I used to also copy my pix from my SD card to a CD (1 hour) but now I have enough additional cards that I don't need to do that.

One final place that we have found, that is especially closet to AKL, is the 192 (W.Irlo Bronson Hwy/W. Space Coast Hwy.) As you exit AKL you make a left onto Osceola Parkway. After a short drive you will come to Sherberth Rd. Make a right and follow it around until it reaches the 192. If you make another right you will find a McD's right there that has the regular menu, inc. $1. Also just a little further down is Chik Fila. The are alot of non-touristy business in that area and it's only 5-10 min. from AKL. Inc. markets.

A cool thing to check out are the maps on Google. Sometimes you can even get a street image view which is really awesome. They have one for that McD's. Also yellowpages.com has really good satellite maps. Check 'em out!
