AKL to Biergarten with only an hour. How do we do it?

DS is going to be hanging out at Simba's Clubhouse the night we go do the Candlelight Processional Package. When I made our dining reservation I thought that Simba's opened at 4pm. However, it's actually 4:30. Our dining reservation is at 5:40 at Biergarten. Do you think taking the bus is even remotely possible? I'm leaning towards No - it would take a lot for everything to fall into place and us to get there in time... plus lots of hustling from the bus stop to the faaaaar side of World Showcase.

So I was thinking maybe taxi??? Do you think getting dropped off at one of the EP resorts and then heading in through the IG? Which resort would be best? And how much do you think a taxi ride would cost us?

I'd say your best be would be taxi. It will be a little cheaper to taxi to Beach Club vs going to the Epcot entrance. The walk from the front of EPCOT to Germany or from Beach Club to Germany is almost the same, about .8 mile or 15 minutes. So i would say just go to the BC. Fare should be about $15 plus tip.

It would be iffy trying it by bus, too many variables.

Thank you for the help! Good to have an idea how much the taxi will cost and how long it will take us to walk there. And also confirming what I thought we'd have to do!
