What time does this occur? Am trying to make ps around this! Also, does it get very crowded? And, is this something a 6 year old would like??? Any other activities at this resort geared toward young children?? Any advise re: AKL appreciated!:bounce:

Wow...I can't add any info to SueEllen's post! I did just want to let you know that my DD4 (almost 5) LOVED the storytelling! And so did I and I am 44!:p

When the weather is nice, it does get crowded. There are chairs around the firepit, so if you want one, arrive a little early. You can stand and the kids can sit around the area if it is crowded. I highly recommend it! :D

Hi there...

It happens in the evening at 7:30pm... there is no PS for this - you just show up.

There are about 10 - 12 rocking chairs around the fire pit - also some large rocks to sit on. I would get there by 7:10 if I were you.

we went to this twice... they tell afirican folklore tales... where the kids have to guess the moral of the story... one night our story teller had a bag of caterpillers and said he would eat one if the kids guessed the moral..

The story was about a chicken and a crocodile.... of course the kids got the message and he proceeded to eat this petrified caterpillar to many "Ewwwwwwws" and "Grosssss" from the kids (and parents)

THe other night they had a crocodile head to pass around (and it was real)

Have fun a AKL

Thank you so much for the info! We are staying part of our vacation at AKL (we've only stayed for one night before, so we didn't get to experience much but the pool) & we are getting more & more excited for the experience! Have a great day!:Pinkbounc

I am wondering if anybody can tell me what exactly the Junior Researcher is at AKL that was mentioned in a previous post?

Sounds interesting!!
