AKL standard -- what area to request?

DH is attending a conference in MARCH, and the conference has a block of STANDARD rooms at the AKL. Can someone tell me what area to request. I'm not too familiar with the resort (we've only been to Boma). I'd like to be close to Mara if possbile...

The entrance to Mara is out by the pool, so it really won't matter where your rooms are.
