akl standard rooms

does anyone know what trails and floors are designated for standard rooms at akl??? what is the best floor to request for a standard room.help!! thanks

We just stayed in a standard room (4021) at the AKL, in March.

Most of the rooms are along the Giraffe Trail 1st-4th floor, the view is of the parking lot but the rooms are close to the lobby, pool and resturants, a great plus at the end of the day. Don't worry about missing out on the animals, the Arusha savana and Sunset Overlook are right off the lobby. We saw the animals every morning before we headed to the parks and enjoyed them during the early evening before Story time at the firepit.

I believe there are some standard view rooms along the Ostrich Trail as well. These would be on the side away from the bus area.
