We are staying at Kidani in June. My brother is staying off property and will be meeting up with us a few times during the week. Will he have a problem getting thru security at the entrance? Will he be able to park his car at the hotel and go to the parks,dinner and hang out at the room with us?

Can you add his name to your reservation without going over the max occupancy of the room?

That way he will be legal. Parking at the resort is allowed if he is visiting you, but he really shouldn't park there and go to the parks.

I've visited friends at AKL with no problem. He just needs to tell the gate guard that he's visiting you and show ID.

You could get him a parking pass when you check-in.

We stayed there in July. My brother is a teacher in Orlando and was able to get in and out very easily. I got a parking pass for him and all he had to do was show ID. Couldn't have been easier.
