AKL savannah view

Hi!
WE have reserved a deluxe savannah view at AKL but we may change it to standard savannah to get a lower room. Our DD is 2 so it would probably be better for her to be lower for a better view of the animals, plus I dont want to pay $60 a night extra for a bit more floor space.

If we request a lower floor might we end up on ground level? I dont like first floor/ground floor rooms generally. I guess what I am asking is, are any of the the savannah rooms on the ground floor?

Actually getting a room on the 3rd floor was best from what I remember. There is a fence that keeps the animals away from the balconies and this way you can see over the fence to see the animals without obstructions. I think the 2nd floor might be good as well but I don't remember what the exact view was.
