AKL-Savanna or Pop Century

Hi,

I got an AP rate for our Dec 26 to Jan 1 stay at AKL-Savanna for 171.71 a night, which I think is a steal compaired to the rack rate 457.15.

But my girlfried saw some pictures of Pop Century and said that we should stay there.

This is her trip too so I want to make her happy and all and she thinks that AKL is just too lad back. I know that she would like AKL, but she seems to have her mind set on Pop Century.

Any advice would be great.

AKL!!! You both will love it. We are staying there a couple of days in Dec. Also stayed there last Dec and we saw animals all the time.

After showing her all of the positive fedback on AKL, she figured since we got such a great rate, we might as well try it.

You'll feel so much more pampered at AKL. Queen sized beds vs doubles. Interior hallways. Sit-down restaurants. Larger rooms. We LOVE AKL. I think you will, too.

She reads these boards all the time and saw someone got a $49 rate at PC for this time frame and figured we could to, but once I informed her that the rate was $138 for a perferred view since all AP rooms are gone at CP and since the price difference was only $34 dollars a night, she changed her mind very quickly.

I had to show her the paperwork that we had just gotten from Disney showing our reservation before she believed the rate discount we got.

Our reservation is actually Dec 26 to Jan 3, just incase we decide to stay longer. If not, we will just shorten the reservation by 2 days.

I'd definetly spend a couple extra days after New Years. When we went down a couple years ago, it was amazing how uncrowded the parks were after Jan 1. Plus, you'll won't want to travel on New Year's Day after being up late the night before.

I'm sure you'll love WDW during the holiday, and your savanna view at AKL!

I think you made a great choice Pop Century looks cool and all but I think i would prefer staying there after it's been open a while and all the bugs are ironed out.
