AKL room location?

We have a November pool view bunk bed reservation........Is there a specific trail or location I should ask for that is the most convenient to everything and least noisy?

also, do the first floor rooms have patios directly to the outside pool area?
What floor level do you recommend?

We were booked in a pool view room and were upgraded to savannah view because the pool view rooms were full. Our savannah view was nice. We were on the sunset savannah. We loved our stay at AKL. I just wish we could afford to stay there more often.

We had a third floor Giraffe Trail pool view room in Feb. Loved the location, we were right off the lobby, jumped into the elevator at the end of the hall to go to the pool and to the food court. It was an excellant location, we had animals right at the end of our hall, did not miss having a savannah view. We have booked another pool view for our trip in October. This will be our second trip to AKL this year, and we really love it. Loved Boma, hoping to try JIKO this trip. Have a wonderful trip.

In my opinion all pool view rooms at AKL have a pretty good location. However, if being close to the lobyy is important to you, you could still request that. Giraffre trail has the advantage of a direct exit to the walkway to the busses while Zebra trail has now and then windows overlooking the Savannah which is a nice bonus. The first floor rooms have kind of patios if I remember correctly, but you will be hidden behind a lot of vegetatation, also you will be lower than the lobby which is on the third floor. I f you want a clear view of the pool (but less privacy on your balcony) you should request a higher floor. Hope this helps!
