AKL questions

I will be going to AKL early December along with my parents and my brother and his family. I was wondering if there was any place with internet access in or near AKL. Also, my brother will be staying in a savannah room with his wife and 3 kids (5 and under!) -will it be too crowded? I may be taking one of the kids with me -hopefully the one that sleeps all night!! I have a standard room -will I be able to stay near them? Don't want to be too far in case I have to take the nephew back to his parents in my jammies!!

I think that the rooms right across the hall from all savannah rooms are standard.

since there are multiple savannahs, some savannah rooms have other savannah rooms across from them, some have pool view rooms across from them, and some have standards. I think the Ostrich trail is the only corridor that has standards across from savannahs (i assume standard means parking lot view). That is the trail with the fewest rooms (~35 rooms per floor for 3 floors from what I can tell from my map).

The rooms are a little small, so they might find it crowded if they're used to deluxe accomodations or if they bring lots of luggage. They do have rooms with bunks too, if they think that will help the kids (and maybe clear up some floor space-- I don't know if the room size is the same as the 2 double bed rooms). Of course, if they are counting on a bunk room, it might be harder to find a room near yours. I'd try to check in as early as possible that day or call ahead and ask these same questions. Good luck!

I can't find a map that names the savannahs and don't know if the areas in the upper left and upper right are standards or savannahs. But, this map shows where the Ostrich trail is.
