akl pool/hot tub.....

ok so on our last stay, at checkin we were told that the pool/hot tubs are open 24 hours....but there was a sign at the pool that had a closing time....were we given incorrect info or is it really 24 hours??? we werent sure so we always left at the time posted

They are "open" 24hrs in the sense that you can use them as long as you are not being distruptive. There are no lifeguards on duty before or after the posted times of operation so it is "swim at your own risk". It is Disney's way of covering itself if someone swims after the lifeguards are off duty and gets hurt.

Hey, I didn't know that....here I was leaving dutifully at midnight.

That's pretty cool, and in sharp contrast to Universal's Hard Rock Hotel, which closes the hottubs and pool down at 9pm.
