AKL pool & early ceck-in

I know this has probably been asked and answered a billion times,but please bear with me,we will be checking in to the AKL at around 10:30 am and don't expect room to be ready. We will be heading for the pool for a day of R&R-will we need to bring our own pool towels or are towels provided at the pool?we have never stayed Deluxe before.

They are provided - You'll find the towels in a number of large bins surrounding the pool...in addition to life vests and kick boards.
Don't forget the sunscreen!

We checked in between 12:30-1:00pm and got into our room right away. There's always a chance! Good luck!

We just got back on Monday and when we checked in at 11:30am we were able to get into our room We really enjoyed AKL and the pool was a lot of fun..

Did you do any of the activities I've heard about,like storytelling? Do you reccommend anything in particular? Besides our first day we are planning 1 other day to hang around and enjoy this beautiful resort. Just hope my 14 year old DS dosen't get bored. I can sit at the pool all day,have a few cocktails and be very happy!

AKL has changing rooms with showers right off of the pool area. This makes taking a swim either before check-in or after check-out so much easier.
