We would have to watch our budget more for sure. But the warm decor and detailed theming really speaks to me plus my family loves animals. It just looks amazing! We are the touring type that considers the hotel as important as the parks, and even more important than expensive meals. I want a nice place to come home to each night. Plus, we like to have an off day in the middle of the week kick back and enjoy it.

Go on be a devil Seriously though you wont regret it, I went in April, and just cant stop thinking about the place ,the smells, the warmth, the cosyness, the feeling of wonderful tropicalness

...Im now working like a monkey to get back there - I'd even go back to disney just for this hotel, nevermind the parks!

The pool, lobby and decor are well worth it. We also LOVED our meal at Boma.

AKL feels like a destination in itself! We stayed twice in a pool view room, but there are many places where you can watch the animals from. I love that it is a bit removed from everything else in WDW, unlike most of the other Deluxe Resorts, you don't see another resort from there. I found that very relaxing. Unfortunatly we have to wait until May 2010.

We were going to book offsite for the first time in over 20 years but recived an e-mail with a pin code Friday and now we are staying 8 nights at AKL in a club room with 40% off

We are headed to the Villas in May 2010. We check in on the 1st. We are going to celebrate my DD's 9th birthday. After looking at these pictures, I wish it was tomorrow. Although, I'm not pushing for her to grow up any faster than she already is.

Glad that you liked it. VF is a great place to wait for your Boma ressie, which is what I was doing. I took this shot by placing the PnS camera on the table and using the two-second timer to trigger the shutter.
