AKL or WL???

We're currently booked for the AKL concierge (deluxe room) for our Halloween trip. Now my family is leaning towards WL We'd have to get a Deluxe room, there are 5 of us, Me, DH, DD 13, DS 13, DS 8. Can anyone give me any info on the Deluxe rooms at WL? Any idea how big (sq feet?) in comparision to the Deluxe rooms at AKL? The more room we have the better. Do they include concierge service? How's the transportation? What about the pool? Thanks in advance for all your help.

We also have an AKL Concierge room booked for Oct. 23-Nov.1

The WL Deluxe rooms do not automatically come with concierge service.

The pool is nice. It has a small slide, kiddie pool, hot tubs. We enjoyed it. I think the pool at AKL is much bigger from what I have seen posted on these boards.

They are both deluxe resorts with unique themes. There are pros and cons to both. WL is closer to MK. We never had a problem with the boat ride to MK. The bus rides to DD and the BW area took a little longer than we had expected-but we never had to wait very long for a bus.

AKL doesn't share busses with other resorts and I have heard that this is a big plus.

I'm sure someone can help you out with the exact room sizes and how they compare.

I think AKL Concierge is far superior to WL Concierge as far as food offerings, size of the lounge area.

We thought we wanted to stay near MK for MNSSHP this year but taking the bus from AKL should not be a problem.

Can't address room dimensions....BUT...can tell you that AKL beats WL hands down in our opinion...
