AKL or ASMo

Hi everyone. We have a surprise trip planned for our daughters in August.We've booked 3 night @ASMo. Well...I got a post card in the mail yesterday for AKL or WL for $129/night. We currently have a rate of $73/night. Both include UPH. I'm not sure if the upgrade is worth it because with only being there 3 nights, I don't know that we'll be spending that much time at the resort. Last year for our 1st trip we stayed for 6ngiths 7 days at CSR (really enjoyed that!). I think if we were staying for a longer period of time, we'd have more time to enjoy the resort, but I just don't know! Any input would be appreciated! I need to make a decision soon before the deluxe rooms are gone. One other question...if I go for the upgrade should we go for AKL or WL? Thanks,Duck

We stayed at the ASMo in Feb. '02, and we planned on staying their again on our Memorial Week visit, we also decided on the AKL @ 129.00 per night. I hear it a beautiful resort, and the price is about 100.00off the reg. price. Are you positive that those rates include unlimited park hoppers? I've seen some specials before, and the rates that includes park hoppers were usually per person in the room, and they were a lot higher. It sounds like you have a great deal.

Make sure about the UPH! In your case, I would pick AKL!!! We loved ASMo, but that is such a great rate for AKL!! One that doesn't come around too often. I would grab it! $73 is okay for AS, but not great. We had it for $49 and wouldn't have paid much more than that. It doesn't matter that you won't spend much time in the room. In August, you will probably take breaks and spend more time there than you might think. I would also try to get a PS at Boma and Jiko! Have a wonderful time!

I'm sure you didn't mean that the way it sounded; that $73 a night included your UMP's? If so, sign me up! Seriously, would you please clarify that. I'm sure what you meant was that the passes are available to you even if you get the room at that rate.

Hi you're all correct. It doesn't include the UPH the rates I mentioned were the room rates only. Sorry about that! My brain was working faster than my fingers! Thanks for all the great input. I'm 99% sure we're going w/AKL, then we'll get the 4 day hoppers because we probably won't have enough time to do the waterparks anyway. We can just take advantage of the resort! Thanks again! AKL wins hands down!! This rate is too good to pass up. You can spend a day at the resort without going to the parks because AKL is an attraction itself.

Do the math! It will only cost you an additional $168 to stay at AKL which I hear is an amazing resort, I wouldn't pass up a chance like that! I got the postcard too but can't use it, what a bummer.
