AKL lounges - appetizers available?

I know I spelled that wrong! Oh well . . .

Anyway DH and I would like to go to one of the AKL lounges while the kids are at Simba's Cubhouse. Since that is an expense in itself, we don't want to do a big meal at Jiko or Boma.

Originally I figured we'd pick up something at Mara, but the last time we did this at the Poly, we loved hanging out at the Tambu Lounge and noshing on appetizers (and drinking Mai Tai's).

Can you order munchies at any AKL watering holes?!?!?!

We would like to know this as well. We know at the WL lounge they have potato skins, buffalo burger, etc and we have also done the Poly lapu lapu dance. This time we are trying AKL and were wondering the same thing.

I hope someone has the answer...

I don't recall being able to order appetizers in Victoria Falls, however there is a very small lounge just inside Jiko, and I"m sure you'd be able to order there. The beef cinnamon rolls are incredibly good, as is the cheese platter.

Of course Victoria Falls has appetisers!
We had some every night.

They have a very unique collection of crispy pita 'chips" and unusual bread sticks with a trio of Hummus(which is smooshed chick peas-similar in taste ti bean dip,but better!)-this was my favorite.

There is also a cheese tray.

You can order from room service at the pool bar, also. Although it's not open late at night .

It is so nice to be able to do something "grown-up" while on a Disney vacation. Our kids love to go to the kid clubs (they like meeting kids from other states) so DH and have can have a little "alone" time.
