AKL LITE unofficial FAQ thread#10 - I believe that's known as a 'Jambo Dozen'

We currently are booked for a standard view room. It appears that there are 4th floor standard rooms overlooking the lobby. Has anyone stayed in those rooms? What is the best standard room to request as another request option? 3rd floor in what section? Prefer not to have a direct parking lot view. Roof tops and trees or empty fields are not a problem :)

We are booked as well for a standard view in AKL and were told to ask for a sunset savannah view. They say there are some standard in that catagory.

I actually would like to request a lobby room, but I was curious about the noise level and view.

Wow, this one is still chugging along. Looks like most people have moved over to the new thread.

...it's not as noisy as you'd think [unless, of course, you are a REALLY light sleeper and are very sensitive to noise]. Also, depending if you are on the check-in side of the lobby or the Boma side, you'll probably have either a pool view or a savannah one...to be clear, I am talking specifically about the rooms whose doors actually face the lobby...

Thanks!

And Kim... I believe we will soon need a new thread for our non-FAQ page too! ::yes::
