I think you can actually book something like 350 days before your stay or so. You just won't know until August what this room is really going to cost you. Since there aren't that many CL rooms, I think it would make sense to book as soon as possible!

A boardwalk treat that most NJ natives enjoy. When I was a little girl, my dad would take us to the boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ for Kohrs' frozen custard. Its soft serve ice cream but very, very smooth and in a lot of different flavors. I'm sure we coined the term "black & white" for a chocolate & vanilla twist frozen custard cone...... I'm going to miss them.....

Or the vanilla and orange that taste like a creamscicle....

Sorry, I got diverted all afternoon and haven't been on the boards.

You should contact AKL's IPO as soon as you have a reservation. I don't ever wait for them to contact me, but as soon as I send them an email with my reservation #, they're great about responding!

I don't believe I've ever dealt with Sue. Don, Melissa & Jack. Juanita was wonderful too, but I haven't heard her name in over a year so I guess she moved on.

I think you can change your room only reservation into a package once the package prices have come out in August. I would say if you really are set on staying there, why take any chances???

That's right, they're coming in NEXT week. Oh, this is a heatwave for Brookelizabeth and her family! Minneapolis is the cold capital of the United States! I do hope it warms up a tad for all coming this way. We were over to the Yacht/Beach Club over the weekend, and people were in the pool! All the lifeguards were bundled up like some LL Bean commercial, complete with hoods up, and people were bobbing in and out of the water!

Thanks for thinking of me! But Laura was right, it's Brook arriving today. But I think after highs of -26 she will be quite happy with lows in the positive 20s

I am watching accuweather closely and it looks like it will warm up by the weekend!! We will arrive Friday evening.

But at the moment, I do feel like a poor Flossbolna, I got a nasty cough and even had some real fever yesterday evening. I stayed at home today and hope to be fit again tomorrow to go back to work to tie up all those loose ends before I am away for a week. And I really felt so lousy today that I even did not get any packing done or so...
