I really want to try a POTS!!

Okay -- I'll ask. What's a POTS? (Even though the picture of the pots/pans was good!) Never mind, I kept reading and understand now. :)

I like the rotating ticker too -- and with the discounts flying around this spring, DH hinted at a Spring Break trip. Of course, I had already thought of it, but didn't say anything yet.

Hi Elin! I got the 7-for-4 deal for AKL-CL. :woohoo: We'll go a couple days after Memorial Day. I will have to cancel the July AKL-CL stay, but I'm not ready to part with it yet!

(Now I'm just waiting for Don to get back to me!! :hyper:)

:teeth:

YAY!! :yay: That is such a great offer... wish I could be there the same time as you again, but I will still be doing recitals at that point. :sad2:

I seem to have found my way into this thread again...except this time, i'm here for some guidance.

The time for my 11 month booking window is creeping up. As of right now, we are planning to go Dec 26th-Dec 31st of 09'. This way I don't loose any vacation days at work. My brother's girlfriend of 2 years (3 years at the time of travel) will be coming along. This is her very first trip to Disney. I want to make sure that she gets to expirence the best the AKL/AKV has to offer. My family stayed at AKL in Dec. 07' with a savannah view and it was breathtaking. Not to mention the decorations in the lobby. This past August we stayed in a 1 bedroom pool view which was equally as breath taking. I think I pretty much narrowed it down to having a savannah view again. Should I attempt a savannah view at Kidani village? Sites say that it should be done by Sept of 09'. What if it's delayed? Should I just book at Jambo house knowing that I will for sure have a savannah view?

I think im stressing myself too much over this:sick:

Yes, I also think you are stressing over it too much! ;)

I don't think you can go wrong either way! If the past is any indicator, Kidani will be finished on time or even ahead of schedule. Late December 2009 is far enough from the "scheduled" completion date that I wouldn't give that a second thought.

If this was my decision to make, I'd be booking Kidani! The rooms there were built especially for DVC, not converted as in Jambo House (which I so love, btw!!). Plus, I don't think it will ever be any better than when the rooms are *brand new* (which is usually the first year they're open). Just make sure you have ADRs for Boma and/or Jiko so you have a good excuse to get over to Jambo House and give your family extra time there to really "experience" Jambo House! :cloud9:

Either one you choose............... lucky duck!!! :goodvibes

I agree!! Either way, you really can't go wrong....I know that I would want kidani, so go for it, give it a shot! The worst thing that can happen is, you cant get into Kidani, but you know you can get in to Jambo...Not a bad 2nd choice;)

Agreed. I think i'm definately going to try Kidani. Even if we don't end up with a Savannah view, I know our trip will still be magical.

OK, I am asking for major good thoughts and PD for our older DD on Thursday. She sent in a writing sample to The Princeton Review after her initial interview last week. They received it this morning and by this afternoon at 2:00 they had set up a full day of follow-up interviews with everyone from the HR person to the management in the Boston office to her potential boss and the rest of the staff.

This sounds very promising to me but I toned down my exuberance when I talked to her on the phone. She is excited enough as it is.

Anyway... if you have any to spare, please start sending PD about 10:00 a.m. on 11/13 (one month to the day since she was let go...).

That would be awesome, Elin! Lots of PD coming your DD's way!

We'll be thinking those good thoughts and sending the PD on the 13th! :woohoo:

Sounds great! Will be thinking of her! :yay:
