So, for those of you have vacationed during holidays, which is better/worse, Easter of Memorial Day weekend? ANy thoughts??
Have an AP burning a hole in my pocket that exp 6/8, and Ava is free til 6/28! Still working on DH....lol

I agree with kimmar -- I think Easter would be very crowded.

Having said that . . . we want to go back. So, I'm tagging onto your question. We have Spring Break 3/15-20 this year (last year a week earlier and nobody there). My DH thinks it'll be too crowded. So, we're looking at 5/29 - 6/5 with the 4/3 deal. Any thoughts on crowds in March vs. last of May/first of June? (Sorry to latch onto your post, lol!)

There will be at least one other family there at that time -- mine!

Your dates in March shouldn't be too bad -- early April through Easter (4/12) will likely be the most crowded. Most of metro Atlanta has spring break the first week of April (4/5 this year).

We've always enjoyed the end of May/beginning of June; but just make sure you're aware of what event takes place there the first week of June. We're fine with it, but we've seen guests who weren't aware and who were not very happy!

Dont be sorry!!! I wanted to go in March too, but DH says I have to use pts (I know, poor me... )so I have to wait til After 4/1 to take the girls....so I just booked Memorial Day..I am thrilled for this quick trip, but cause I miss my friend by O N E day!
I think the end of May is good, lots of kids arent out of school yet, last year we did the second week of June and crowds werent too bad!

I WILL keep you guys posted. If we go though, it'll be a "budget" trip and we'll probably stay at Pop. My little DS wants to always stay there, so he'd be happy. I'd sleep in the parking lot if it meant I'd get to go to WDW!

I've done both the Memorial Day weekend trip, and the Spring Break trip (last year), and I've got to say that May was warmer (much), AND more crowded. March was not bad at all. The weather was nice, cooler evenings, but nothing drastic, and the crowds were about the same as what I saw the first week of January this year. You can handle it! We are trying to figure a way to do a quick trip for spring break using some of our "Mickey points", but so far no luck. But May is booked, so there you go!
Point is.....dont be afraid of March, it was just fine.
