I can't wait to see these pictures too. :goodvibes I miss that look of awe and wonder on little one's faces when we go to WDW. Although, my lovely offspring and devoted spouse say all I have to do is look in the mirror and I can see it all right there.

Take lots and lots of those pictures (for us and for yourself) to enjoy years from now!

:rotfl: That is funny about your family and the mirror! I'm sure I have that look as well...I'm sure most of us DIS'ers do! I will be sure to take lots and lots of pics though, hopefully I catch 'that moment' on camera!

Here's the link -- http://flightaware.com/live/ You plug in either the flight number (for instance CO678 for Continental flight 678), airline or airport code, and then you can watch is as it goes to see Mickey! :)

What a cool link, thank you!

The sunrise pics is sooooo pretty. Ahhhhh...sitting on the balcony, a warm cup of NON-Disney coffee in your hand, breathe in deep...:cloud9:

Even more importantly... catch it in your memories.

Wow, do you have a long driveway or something?

Nope... our neighborhood is an older one on the fringes of our city. Most of the people living in the neighborhood have raised their children and now are grandparents. Those kids trick or treat in their neighborhoods. Any children who live close to us would go up one street further to houses that are closer together and have children living in them, I suppose. I am lucky I get my fix of little ones in costume and handing out treats in all my classes. Love it!

I am going to WDW next month! :yay:

Aww that makes sense! I live in a town house complex that has one circular road. Hence, lots of people bring their kids here to trick or treat since they consider it fairly safe and the kids can bring in quite a haul! We have 147 units on about a 1/4 mile road. So even if only 1/2 the houses are home, the kids make out very well.

My goodness, you're right!! :woohoo: It just doesn't seem possible that you can be talking about a trip over Christmas and say "next month"!!!! Where has this year gone? :sad1:

We had to turn off the front light when we ran out of candy! :scared1: My DH was disappointed though. He kept saying "where are all the little ones?" All the middle & high schoolers were out, but very few of the younger kids made it around the circle to our house. :sad1: (we live in a 300+ home subdivision.)

In the past, I have had that problem too with most of the kids being older. But this year, I was happy to see lots of little kids especially ones that weren't even in school yet. I think that their parents were having as much fun as the kids.:goodvibes

When we lived in a village in Ohio we used to spend $$$ on candy for the kids. We lived on a downtown street and we had hundreds of children every year. It was so much fun!

You GO, girl!! What did everyone else drink???

All beer and wine at the neighbors' house, where the party was. Here are some pics:

Bet you never saw Barack with b-o-o-bage before! My other neighbor came as Sarah Palin, and she was great. I shall post when I get the picture of the two of us forwarded to me by my neighbor. It was a hoot!
Yes, that is my Flexible Flyer in the background...you can take the girl out of New England, but...

This was the scene in front of my house. It went on all night until we ran out of candy which was, I might mention, 7 giant bags from Sam's Club. We could have passed out probably 4 more bags. Picture this and multiply by 10, and we estimate we probably had about 800 people trick or treating. This is the scene every Halloween but we had more people this year because we think it was because Halloween fell on a Friday night. The hotels on Route 192 literally bus these people in to trick or treat. I have mixed feelings about this, but it is a huge event in Celebration. Traffic is tough, and there are so many people who come from out of town. Nonetheless, it is certainly an event!

Sounds like you made the best of it and had a great time! :goodvibes
