About how far is it from the AKL club level to the Mara restaurant? How big are the coffee makers in the rooms?

From the club lounge, you just walk over to the elevator, take it to the ground floor, and walk just a bit and you're at Mara.

From your room, well that would depend on where your room is. It could be close or way over on the other side of AKL. If you want to be close to Mara, then I would suggest requesting that on your reservation.

As for the coffee-makers in the room, I didn't even look at ours so I don't remember. There is a fantastic espresso machine in the lounge, so I don't expect that the club level room coffeemakers get much use at AKL...

If you want to be close to the Mara, requesting a room on the Zebra trail is best.

They are 4 cup coffee makers in the room. One bottle of water was enough to make a pot of coffee.
