AKL laundry prices

What are the prices for washer and dryer at AKL? How is the laundry facility?

I just did laundry at AKL the other night. I believe the washer was 2.00 per load and the dryer was 2.00 per load as well. I found the laundry facilities to be nice and very clean. I did laundry at about 1:30 am and about 6:00 am so that could have attributed to that. Both times I was there someone was cleaning up around the laundry room. There is a flat screen tv and some chairs if you care to wait for your laundry, if not, the laundry room is also a short walk from the pool.

I haven't done laundry at AKL, but the washers are $2.00 per load and the dryers are $2.00 for 30 minutes of drying time. If the dryers are anything like the ones I've used at other resorts (YC, CSR and PC), they tend to run hot, so check the temperature setting if you have anything remotely delicate.

Edited to add:

Be sure to take your room key card with you. You may need it for access to the laundry facilities. It doesn't seem to be consistent when you need it, regardless of what is posted.

Since prices have already been mentioned, the facility itself is very clean and well managed. The only complaint from us is that it's always packed/busy, no matter what time or what day it may be. Other than that, it's a very nice facility and we like to go do the nightvision viewing while we're waiting or have a nice cup of coffee from Mara (boy do I LOVE their coffee).
