Anything you wished you had brought with you to AKL (specifically Kidani) that you didn't bring??

TIA

We stayed in a studio room at AKL - Kindani with 2 adults and two children. We drove instead of flew so that helped out alot with storage issues. I wish we had brought extra Hangers and a dirty cloths foldable hamper. Storage is a little tight in these rooms. The armoir has actually got a vacucm cleaner in it so there is little storage on one side of it. I suppose you could remove the vaccum and place it in the foyer and hang cloths in the armoir. The other side of the armoir is shelves. We emptied our suitcases and stored them under our bed. We left any clothing that we brought along for "just in case" purposes in the luggage under the bed. On the bright side the bathroom was spacious and had undersink storage. There isnt much room for the cushions on the pull our sofa when it is opened so we stacked them in the corner beside the doors. Rooms are very elegant and pretty. Love this resort:love:

:) ice cube trays, larger drinking glasses. They only have small glass glasses and small coffee mugs--like I mean tiny.

We just got back from AK / Kidani 5/25-6/2 visit...

LOVE this resort ! We had 4 "kids" (Age 18-20) and plans to eat breakfast in the room every morning.

Thankfully we drove...so I brought about $200 in grocery/items with us.

Agree with PP... was glad I packed a few 18 oz Solo cups... nice to bring a drink to the bus stop to sip while you wait. Ended up putting a few bottled waters in the freezer and taking to parks... they would be melted & cold right as we were thirsty again.

I brought a few tea lights and used the bubble bath provided... the Hot Tub is HUGE and LOVELY ! (with a glass of wine LOL)

Our 2 BR Villa was a bit shy of dishes... so we were continually loading and running the dishwasher. It didn't have a pitcher so the tea I brewed on the stove I just poured (adding water) out of the pot.

We cooked eggs ( I had brought a spray can of Pam)... grits.... DSD19 baked cookies (bag of mix, water only added)... popcorn. I had muffins, pop tarts, cereal, chips, juice, cokes, etc.

So I suppose we had everything we could need...

I don't know if this helps... but have a Magical visit !

Honestly, I wish I had roller skates. We were in the absolute farthest area possible from the lobby. That is a LOOONNNNGGG walk. '

Also, I wish we wouldn't have valet parked. We didn't realize that we could have parked somewhat close to our room in the underground "garage".

If you have your own thermal mug or cup to bring (or makes for a great souvenir!) The cups are really small. Also, I brought along my own bath salts to soak in. I don't fancy their tap water so either a purifier or bottled water. Depending on if you are driving or not depends on how all practical this is. :goodvibes
