AKL Itinerary planners

How far in advance do the itinerary planners contact concierge guests? Last time we stayed at Poly concierge and I emailed them our requests because it was getting really close to our trip and I had not heard anything from them. Our trip is still a long way off but we are already planning things.

Also, I read the thread regarding kids robes. Does AKL have a nice robe? Getting one for my ds would be fun!

You will love AKL Concierge!
I have always contacted the itinerary planners via email before they could contact me , although they once mailed me an information packet which coincided with when I made my reservation through Central Reservations. ANYWAY, I would go ahead and email them if you have requests for something like the Sunrise Safari or the Wanyama Safari or CRT but otherwise you may want to wait until closer to the 90-day mark.
FWIW, I have stayed at AKL Concierge three times and never seen or heard of kids' robes. I remember GF used to have them but I haven't seen them there in at least 7 years.

They can see your reservation in the system 140 days out but not before that. When in July will you be there? We'll be at AKL concierge July 21-24, 2006.

We will be there earlier in July, the 10th -15th.

We will be arriving at the YC on the 14th for 10 days moving over to AKL on the 21st. Too bad I won't get to read your review before leaving! LOL! We have the Presidential Suite booked at AKL. Can't wait. There will be seven of us!! Hope you enjoy your trip! The hardest part is waiting until next summer.

Presidential suite sounds very nice! We will be going on a 7 night western caribbean cruise following our stay at AKL. So we wont get home until the 22nd.

The anticipation is almost as fun as the trip itself!
