Hi! Dh and I are planning a trip to DW in early November. We've been looking at Animal Kingdom Lodge since the weather will likely be too cool for swimming and see that there are four room options. We are wondering specifically about the views from each of these options. What is the view like for Value, for Standard, especially for Savannah... do you see animals often? rarely? far away? close? etc

Since the resort (dvc portion) hasn't opened yet, nobody knows. My understanding is the value rooms are smaller & somewhat odd-shaped, and the standard are the non-views (unless you consider parking lot a view). On the savannah, you might see alot of animals, or you might see few - just depends on where your room is and what the animals are doing at that moment. They can get pretty close if they want to.

Also, early November the weather should be in the 80's - certainly warm enough for swimming in a heated pool! It might be chilly at night, but even then in early Nov it may not be cool enough to warrant a jacket at night.
