AKL In room dining

Has anyone ordered dinner to your room? We are on the deluxe, can we still order a appitizer with our meal. We are debating on this or Jikos on our stay. Our kids are 1 and 4. From responses from a post I had, I am worried if our kids are loud at Jikos we will get some looks..

So, what happens if you get "some looks"? Big deal. As long as your kids aren't running around under the tables and - more importantly - in the paths of the servers, or throwing food, or having full-blown, uncontrollable tantrums, let people look. They're kids.

I've seen lots of kids at Jiko. I would go, and not worry about other people.

But if you want to know about AKL room service...
We ordered room service dinner on our first night because we arrived at around 10:00 at night. I think we had a copy of the menu with us, and called our order in on our way to the resort from the airport. It was a great dinner! Delicious! ...and on our last morning we had room service breakfast that they delivered promptly at 6am.
