AKL & heron with egg

The beginning of May my DH and I were staying at AKL and noticed a heron (in the Arushu savannah) was sitting on an egg. I was wondering if anyone has seen this and if the egg had hatched? The Papa heron was doing a good job of keeping all the giraffes and animals away.
I miss Disney already!
