AKL grand villa 7 months

I have seen a few older posts on a similar topic but I was curious if there has been a change in availability. What are my chances of getting a grand villa at AKL 7 months out in October or November next year?

I couldn't find his recent post, but Drusba has been checking online 7 mo availability (1 or 2x a week) for the past year. He reported that contrary to the popular belief that you need 11mo booking for GV's... That really most GV's are available at 7 months (except BWV and OKW HH area). So I think you may have a good chance.

We had no trouble booking a AKV GV at 7 months forthi past May timeframe. Haven't tried for the autumn.

The time you want is DVC high demand time. AKV GV's may be available although they were a problem this year for the middle two weeks of Oct and time around Veteran's day weekend. Moreover, as with many things during Oct and first two weeks of Nov, you better plan to attempt reserving exactly 7.

We got an akl grand villa two years ago for the first week of october at seven months out no problem. .. Might even have been at six months out

Just got a OKW Grand Villa at 7 months for Spring Break which should be busier than Autumn. AKL Grand Villa's were also available.

Make sure you make your ressie at the first available day.

Except spring break really isn't busier for DVC than the fall.

The reality is otherwise. The highest DVC demand quarter by far is end of Sep through marathon weekend In Jan. The spring break weeks are actually medium to low demand times. It is far easier to get rooms at 7 months out during Easter than it is during Oct and the actual highest demand time during those spring break weeks is the Princess half marathon weekend in latter part of Feb.
