Honestly, all we were told when we heard about it was that the total for each safari would be 8. I hadn't heard that they all had to be couples or anything.

So I would assume that a single person could go, or a threesome...... any size up to 8 people. I believe nobody under 16 can go. That's about the only restriction that I've heard about.

And if it weren't for the AP rate at concierge...... we wouldn't be able to afford it either. We'll only be there for 3 nights anyway- so we might as well cram all that we can into the time we have!!

When we heard about this new offering from AKL, we were very excited! (We've done the Sunrise Safari before and loved it.) We'll be celebrating our 15th Anniversary during our December WDW vacation, and this Sunset Safari sounded like the perfect romantic evening! Unfortunately, we'll only be at the AKL for the weekend, and this safari is only available on Thursdays, Sundays, & Mondays...

Hi.. I am not sure how romantic it would be as I was under the impression everyone dined together at one table with the guide?

I could be wrong and it may be separate dining per couple... at the breakfast you are seated at tables for 8 mixed with others on the safari.

...even so, anything we do without our 3 kids is romantic to me! I guess it didn't matter to me if we sat at one big table or got to sit at Jiko on our own. I just pictured dh & I going on the safari as the sun was setting and snuggling together in the slight chill of the December air. Knowing our luck, Florida would have gotten a heat wave and thunderstorm on the day we were scheduled to go! LOL! I guess our dinner at V&A will have to do for our anniversary celebration!

I'm with you Michelle, anytime my DW and I can get alone without the kids it's romantic...going grocery shopping, yard work, dropping them off someplace, Dr's appointments....ah, true love!
