IF we reserve a Jambo house Value studio
It says it is smaller than other rooms ?
So what is the square feet of a Jambo Value Studio?

What are the views and do you still get a balcony?

Views are savannah, pool or vegetation/parking lot. You have a balcony.

Jambo value studios are 316 sq. ft. In contrast, a AKV Jambo studio (std. or savanna) is 365 sq. ft.

The values are all near the front of the Jambo building on the fifth floor. As mentioned above, view can be pool, savanna or parking lot/vegetation. You cannot request view through MS and it is luck of the draw. The studios are about the same size as the rooms at Port Orleans. They are also difficult to get almost year round in that they often disappear very quickly (within seconds) after the 11 month reservation window opens online for owners of AKV at 8 a.m.

I was lucky, have one for three nights before the DVC Member Cruise this year. :)

I want to say that 8 are dedicated studios and 10 are part of 2BR lockoffs, but I won't swear to it...

See this map showing Jambo DVC rooms including those dedicated, in purple (or some shade of dark blue; I am colorblind and cannot say what the color actually is): http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-akv/floor5-large.html. The values are the ones along Ostrich and Giraffe Trails. There are 8 dedicated studios and 10 that are part of 2BR lock-offs.

The only real differences are:
the room is 3 feet shorter than a standard studio.
the bed and couch/bed are reversed.
as PP stated you do not get to select your view - you get what you get at check in.

I did a split stay once, within AKL, between the value studio and the standard. I did that specifically so that I could compare the sizes, see how I felt. Actually, I didn't know any significant difference in size-I did the value studio first, and I expected I might walk into the standard studio and go "Wow! This IS bigger!" Nope, no such feeling! What I DID notice, however, is that even the value studios have 2 sinks in the sink area, as opposed to the "deluxe" studios at BCV, which only have one.

That's because they are converted hotel rooms, not built from the ground up as DVC villas.
