Will someone please tell me what the difference is between the Deluxe and the regular rooms at AKL. It appears there is a King size bed, it that it? Where do the kids sleep?

NO. Not all deluxe rooms have a king. In fact most do not.

The deluxe rooms are a little bit larger, although I've seen both and can't tell the difference.

Most, but not all, deluxe rooms have a daybed that can accomodate a fifth person.

Our deluxe room and a queen bed, bunk beds and a daybed. It was a pretty large room. We really enjoyed our stay at AKL!!!

The regular rooms at the AKL are approx 340 sq ft and have either a king bed, two queens, or a queen and bunk set up and can only sleep up to 4(king standard rooms can only sleep 2). The Deluxe rooms are approx 381 sq ft, and have either a king bed and day bed, two queens or a queen, bunks and a day bed. These rooms, those with the queen, bunk, day bed set up, are the only ones that can sleep 5 at the AKL,with the exception of the 2 BR suites. All the deluxe rooms are located on the 5th floor and you can either get a pool view or savannah view with those. As Ducklite noted, there are not many king bedded deluxe rooms at the AKL.

Do the deluxe rooms have makeup mirrors? Not that I wear much makeup! Just wondering. :)
